When we returned from our Lookout Pass Ski Weekend, my computer would not start up properly. After a couple of days of struggling with it and getting nowhere, I took it to Friendly Computers.
They were able to get it running but the old hard drive had issues. $350.00 later, I have my laptop back with a new operating system and a huge new hard drive. I now have 512 gigs of memory. I've only used up a quarter of it.
I'm going to have to add a couple of posts since the Couch Move In post so if you've read them, just no they were added retrograde...if that's a thing.
It's a beautiful Saturday and I have a three day weekend. I'm taking Monday off, mostly because I have a lot of vacation days to use up. More than 80 hours at this point.
I've done a bunch a little jobs around the house today plus a trip to church to prepare tomorrows list of Power Point Hymns. I got our bicycles down from the Carriage House and they are ready for a rumble. I fixed the clock in my cars' radio. It is a really difficult radio to figure out. I'm quite pleased that I was able to set the clock.
We're supposed to have high winds starting tomorrow evening so I hauled out the generator and started it up. It took a little doing because I don't really know how to work it. I forgot it had a choke.
On Monday, I'm going to go to Cartoys and see if someone can 'splain my radio to me. Prior to Cartoys, I'm getting my Covid Vaccine. It's the first shot.
Susan got her second shot last Monday and was quite miserable on Tuesday.
Okay! That's the update from here. Time to go to the Hub.
