The new gutters I put up on the front of the house are getting their first test in actual rainy weather conditions today. So far, they appear to be working admirably. One side of the gutter system is more admirable than the other. The water is really pouring out the downspout on the east side. The west side has some trickle going but not much more than that.
The big test of course will be this winter when the rain turns to heavy ice and puts a lot of pressure on my homemade braces.
But for now I'm happy to see the raindrops not falling on my head when I use the front steps.
