We have received a lot of rain in the last two days. Over an inch on Monday and about a quarter of an inch yesterday. It's raining right now.
The excitement on hand for today is wind. The forecasts call for the rain to let up and the wind to come in, with gusts up to 50 mph. Considering how wet it has been, the fear is the chance for more trees to uproot and take out the 'lectricity.
Fortunately, I'm getting this post in while we still have...

So the wind wasn't the excitement on hand, since there was little wind; rather, the excitement on hand was the forecast of wind.
