Old Bed, New Bed

Yesterday, we stopped at Walker's Furniture on Division and bought a basic bedframe. ($79.95)

Today, we dismantled the big bed we brought in a few months ago and put the mattress back on the new frame. We aren't as fancy pants as we were, but the bed is functional and we plan to make a headboard out of the old balusters from the stairs to jazz it up again..

The bed is going to the auction house because it goes with the rest of the bedroom set we are selling.

So I feel like we've had a productive day.
