Yesterday, I shut down our old boiler for the last time. I turned it off at the thermostat, I cut off the gas, and I began draining the whole radiator system of water.
Twenty-four hours later, the water is still draining. I'm not sure what is going wrong. It seems the water supply is shut off but the water just keeps coming. I'm going to call my Boiler guy tomorrow and see if he can help me
In the meantime, we still have a lot of work to do to get ready for its removal on the 15th of June.
We have to clear out all the boxes we've been storing under and around it. There is also a shelf of stuff we have to relocate. We also need to clear a clean path to the basement door so the guy can get it out in the several pieces he's going to cut it up into.
