I got home tonight and made a nice little fire. I really love the new fireplace and how it heats up the living room and upstairs.
The odd thing is that it does not appear to be doing anything to lower our heating bill. We spent over $500.00 last month and we weren't even here for 12 days.
I really need to start getting to work on locating all the places cold air is wafting in and buttoning up this house.
That should actually be pretty easy. The procedure will be: Find a window, you've located a draft. Find another window, yup...that one too.
