We have been scurrying around the house busily preparing for the Winter Solstice, a pagan ritual which we observe every six months. It gives us an excellent excuse for having a party. It also forces us to clean the house...at least to the best of our abilities, considering the many unfinished remodeling projects throughout the house.
Worst of all for this season, Susan has added stress due to a cold. She has felt like shit for the past few days but hasn't really taken the opportunity to slow down and try to get better. She may spend the Solstice in bed.
I really need to do something about that moss.
