If you guessed that I would turn into a giant puddle of Wimpy Girlie-Man Ice Pussy on Monday, September 21st at 6.38 PM, then you win this year's Boiler Challenge Game.
I fired everything up because I needed to feel confident that the heat was working and there were no leaks prior to actually needing the heat.
The good news is that it works great.
So now I have shut the thermostat down and am awaiting a truly chilly day that deserves a furnace.
But technically, I've fired up the boiler so the game is over. This is undoubtedly the earliest I've started the boiler since the beginning of the game back in the early 50's.
